Children of Men
The comments made by zizek helped emphasize the main themes of the movie, but they also brought other ideas to light. His discussion on relating the movies ideas to todays society, I thought were very intriging. In particular this statement stood out the most, "Todays predominant mode of politics is a politics of fear, a defense against potential victimization or harassment." This statement sums up one of the biggest themes from the movie, and also makes you think about how close this relates to todays politics/governments.
